[48] Glen and Viola married young and stayed together all their lives. Glen worked for Shell for most of his life, living mostly near Marshall, Oklahoma, just outside the no longer existing oil boom-town of Roxana.
[49] Later, after he had retired, he bought and operated a water-service truck for oil field use.
[50] Like his brother Frank, his sister Ellen, and his son Kenneth Earl, Glen died from brain cancer.
[51] Barry Spradley gives the marriage date as 1934. This is obviously a typo. Spradley also gives him the middle name of "Clifford." "Clifton" is correct.
