This is far from certain, but likely. It's possible that he is Henderson Musgrove's son, but since they served together...and died together...in the Mexican War, it's more likely they were brothers. He may have been a nephew, of course. The
complication of names (below) adds to confusion.
[376] He was killed in the Mexican War. He served in Company L, Snodgrass's North Alabama Mounted Volunteers as a private. This was probably against the Seminole Indians in 1835. --Ann Strickland Grainger

Other sources give his Name as Jason Nelson Musgrove. However, he apparently had a brother named Jason, who was married to a different woman. The other Jason, if he was indeed a brother, would have apparently been some years older, when one
compares the ages of their wives. It's possible, of course, that there were two wives.
